Cut roof decking, two 4′x6′ 5 1/4″, two 2′x6′ 5 1/4″, four 2′ 9 3/8″ x6′ 5 5/16″, install as shown above. The decking will stick out 9 3/8″ from the outer rafters.
Cut eight 2×4 to 6′ 7 1/4″ and cut 30 deg miter cuts on both end, same direction.Cut sixteen 2×4 to 5″ and assemble. See illustration above. Make four sets, these will be used for the overhang.
Install the rafter overhang as shown above. Use 3 1/2″ nails, nail through the siding and into the rafters.
