The two side truss will have gussets only on one side. Cut two 2×4′s to 1′ and two 2×4′s to 2′ with a 30 degree miter cut on one side, toe-nail or secure with gussets.
Cut to size the T1-11 exterior siding and nail with 1 1/4″ finishing nails for the two end truss.
Toe-nail the truss to the top plate, 2′ o.c. (see illustration above).
