Front/Back Wall Siding

Front Wall Siding

Cut and nail the front wall siding to the frame using 1 ¼” finishing nails. The top of the siding will be flush with the top plate. The bottom of the siding will be past the bottom plate ***
5/8” T1-11 exterior siding.

Gambrel-Barn Plans Front Wall Top Siding

Cut and nail the top front wall siding to the frame using 1 ¼” finishing nails.
5/8” T1-11 exterior siding.

Install as shown above.

Gambrel-Barn Plans Front Wall cut door cut siding

Use a reciprocating saw, hand saw, or a router to cut the siding from the top.
Carefully cut out the door opening. The double door will be built with the T1-11 exterior siding that has been cut out.

Back Wall Siding

Cut and nail the back wall siding to the frame using 1 ¼” finishing nails. The top of the siding will be flush with the top plate. The bottom of the siding will be past the bottom plate ***
5/8” T1-11 exterior siding.

Cut and nail the back wall siding to the frame using 1 ¼” finishing nails.
