Cut and remove the bottom plate from the door opening.

Nail a 4’x8′ T1-11 exterior siding to the 2×4 trimmer stud, 2×4 crippler stud, 2×4 double header, and top and bottom plate using 1 1/4″ finishing nails.
The top will be flush with the top plate, the bottom will hang down 1 ½” past the bottom plate.
Carefully cut out the door opening. The door will be built with the T1-11 exterior siding that has been cut out.
Nail the 3’x8′ T1-11 exterior siding to the sides using 1 ¼” finishing nails. The siding will be flush with the top plate, the bottom will hang down 1 1/2″ past the bottom plate.
